Where to do Paragliding in Adana? Directions Information.

Paragliding events are held at two important points in Adana center according to the seasons of the year.

Rüzgarlı Tepe: It is located within the borders of Kabasakal District of Adana Province, Central Çukurova District. Especially between the months when the wind blows from the north (October-June), it is possible to fly against the wind from the 300-altitude hill located in the south of the Seyhan Dam due to its location. It is a point where beginner pilots can fly more comfortably.

To get to Rüzgarlıtepe, you should proceed on the Adana-Karaisalı road, turning right, directly opposite the oil in Kabasakal Neighborhood.

Menekşe: Menekşe Neighborhood is located in the east of Seyhan Dam. In this way, it offers a nice alternative to flying especially between the summer months (June-October) when the wind blows from the south and southeast. As a landscape, it offers impressive visuals, especially at sunset, with the Seyhan Dam and Çukurova University campus. In terms of difficulty, it is a track where more experienced pilots fly compared to Rüzgarlı Tepe. The air currents blowing over the dam, hitting the hill and rising, rise even higher than the point where the pilots jumped, allowing them to glide in the air for hours.

To go to the Menekşe track, you must proceed in the direction of Balcalı from the center of Adana, turn right before reaching Çukurova University, and turn left at the junction where the new stadium and the cemetery are located. Here the road forks. You can reach this track by using the road on the left.

Tapan: This track, located within the boundaries of Tapan locality in Feke District of Adana, is a track that can be considered new. It is especially preferred in summer.

To go to Tapan track, you should proceed in the direction of Feke from Kozan District by using Kozan road and turn right just south of Kozan Dam and reach Tapan locality.
