International Orange Blossom Carnival

International Orange Blossom Carnival is the first and only street carnival of Turkey. The carnival is organized through civil initiative and it is the greatest tourism-culture-art organization of Turkey. It is celebrated in the first two weeks of April, when the streets of Adana are beautifully scented with the fragrant of orange blossoms. Adana’s institutions and organizations, especially the public enterprises and local authorities support the organization. International media and famous names follow and participate in the carnival each year. Numerous cultural art and sports activities are held during carnival time. The vivid atmosphere created by visitors from Turkey and all around the world helps the city’s economic development enormously.
